What's in each box?

Box contents are curated based on what's freshest and in season at the time of packing. Each box includes a printed seasonal fruit guide with ripening tips, flavor notes, and serving ideas. We can't accommodate individual fruit requests, but you can choose your tier to match your taste level — from familiar favorites to rare finds.

How much fruit is in a box?

Accepted Answer

The Tropical Discovery Box contains approximately 5–7 lbs across 4–6 varieties. The Family Box contains approximately 9–12 lbs across 6–9 varieties. The Rare Fruit Experience contains approximately 7–10 lbs of premium and rare varieties. The Mango Flight and Gift Box have their own sizing — see the shop page for details.

Can I order as a gift?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Tropical Gift Box is designed for gifting and includes premium presentation packaging and a slot for a personalized message. You can also gift a Coconut Club subscription — contact us directly and we'll set it up with a custom message and your chosen start date.

Question 4

Is the Mango Flight available year-round?

Accepted Answer

No. The South Florida Mango Flight is a seasonal product available only during the Florida mango season, typically late spring through summer. When it's available, it will appear in the shop. Sign up for our email list to be notified when it drops.

Question 5

Where do you ship?

Accepted Answer

We ship to eligible addresses in the contiguous 48 United States. We currently do not ship to California, Hawaii, Alaska, U.S. territories, or internationally due to agricultural restrictions and transit time concerns for perishable fruit.

How long does shipping take?

Orders are packed and shipped within 2–3 business days. Transit time varies by destination but is typically 2–4 business days via ground carrier. You'll receive a tracking number by email when your box ships.

Is shipping free?

Coconut Club subscribers receive free shipping on every delivery. One-time orders may have a shipping fee applied at checkout depending on your location and box size.

Question 8

What if I'm not home when my box arrives?

Fruit boxes are safe to leave at the door for several hours. If you're concerned about extended exposure to heat, we recommend having your box delivered to a location where someone can bring it inside promptly. We're not responsible for boxes left outside for extended periods after delivery.

Question 9

How does The Coconut Club work?

The Coconut Club is our subscription program. Choose a tier (Discovery, Family, or Rare Fruit) and a frequency (monthly or bi-weekly). You'll be billed automatically and receive a fresh box on your chosen schedule. You save approximately 10% compared to one-time pricing.

Can I pause, skip, or cancel?

Yes — all three. Log in to your account and manage your subscription from the dashboard. You can pause your subscription, skip an upcoming delivery, or cancel anytime before your next billing date. No fees, no penalties.

Question 11

Can I change my tier or frequency?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or change your delivery frequency at any time from your account dashboard. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.

Question 12

When will I be billed?

Accepted Answer

Your first charge occurs when you subscribe. Subsequent charges occur on the same date each month (or every two weeks for bi-weekly subscribers). You'll receive an email reminder before each charge.

What if something arrives damaged or in poor condition?

We stand behind every box. If anything arrives in poor condition, contact us within 48 hours of delivery with a photo and we'll make it right — replacement, store credit, or refund. No hassle, no questions asked.

Question 14

Some of my fruit isn't ripe yet — is that normal?

Accepted Answer

Yes, and it's intentional. Some tropical fruits — like avocados, mamey sapote, and certain mangoes — are harvested slightly under-ripe so they survive transit and ripen at home. Your fruit guide explains exactly what to look for and how to ripen each variety properly.

How should I store my fruit?

Storage varies by variety and ripeness stage — your printed fruit guide covers each item in your box. As a general rule: most tropical fruit ripens best at room temperature and should be refrigerated only once fully ripe.
